Kurt Knisell
Kurt has a long history with health and fitness. Starting at the age of fifteen, he has over seventeen years of experience helping himself and others determine their workout and meet their goals. At the age of nineteen, Kurt was named Mr. Teenage Palm Springs and The Southern California Bodybuilding Champion based on his personal physique. Kurt was also runner up that same year in the Mr. Orange County Muscle Classic.
From that point forward, Kurt has been dedicated to health and fitness and has been determined to broaden his expertise concerning fitness and nutrition. This dedication has revealed itself through the passion Kurt exhibits in helping others reach their fitness fitness goals. Kurt's motto is "where there is a will there is a way." Kurt has earned two certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). ACE is a watchdog organization for the fitness industry and is the world's largest nonprofit fitness certifying organization. ACE has earned respect as the highest possible professional certification, as its exam is one of the toughest in the industry.

Crystal
Crystal promotes natural wellness and balanced lifestyle awareness. She has many years of experience in the fitness industry, and her extensive background in dance gives her a fun and diverse approach to total body wellness.
Crystal earned her BS in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico and holds several certifications, including National Academy of Sports Medicine and The Cooper Institute for Aerobic Research.
She has worked in both New York City and Los Angeles as a personal trainer. Crystal specializes in women's fitness-providing her clients with an exciting fusion of core strength training, yoga, mat pilates, and neuro-muscular flexibility.
Her goal is to help her clients find enjoyment in exercise, and she hopes that, in turn, they will see the lasting benefits of living a healthy, preventative lifestyle.
Tanji
Tanji's passion for fitness started at the young age of two, when she began taking jazz and ballet dance classes. Tanji was born into a fitness orientated family. Her mother was a competitive dancer, and her father was an avid player of football, water sports, and tennis. Tanji's step father was a major league baseball player for Philly's... and played in the world series. Tanji continued to dance through her adult years, and then started competitive cheerleading, and won 4 awards from UC Stanford. Tanji then made the move from northern California to Southern California, where she became married to a top fitness professional, a former competitive bodybuilder, and the title holder of Mr. Palm Springs.
Tanji's husband Kurt started South Bay Fitness In 1999, when he finished competing. Tanji then joined him in 2003, after the birth of their first child. Tanji's certifications are NCEP, AFTA, and, APEX. Tanji specializes in functional fitness training for women. Functional fitness training is a program with a proven systematic approach in developing optimum levels of flexibility, balance, strength, and dynamic movement efficiency.
Tanji's main goal is to get her clients to create a balance between their body and mind, this ensures that all of her clients will reach their fitness goals without injury, or compromising their heath in any way.
Chris
Chris has been involved in the Health and Fitness Industry for 10 years and has close to 15 years of
personal experience in the quest for a healthy body, mind and soul.

Rosemary
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Rosemary received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health/Fitness Instructor.
After completing a four-month intensive internship at a residential for-women-only fitness and weight-loss retreat, she began her career as a personal trainer in the private studio and health club settings.Her experience in the field has allowed her the opportunity to work with clients of varying fitness levels and with different needs and goals.
For those individuals seeking weight loss and lifestyle change to those wanting variety in their current training or looking for a new challenge, Rosemary is committed to helping her clients meet their goals while having fun and reaping the many benefits of an active lifestyle. She considers fitness a way of life and truly enjoys being a part of the positive change clients experience with improved overall fitness and well-being.
Rosemary has always led an active life, involved in sports such as tennis, track, and soccer. In her free time, she loves to hike, play tennis, and practice yoga.
Jamie
Jamie was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts where she was a soccer player for thirteen years and a love for fitness began. She moved to Los Angeles five years ago where her passion grew and she became a certified AFTA personal trainer.
Having transformed her own body, she began helping others do the same. She has helped countless people reach their fitness goals. Jamie has dabbled in many different styles including kenpo karate; plyometrics core synergistics and ashtanga yoga and incorporates them into her strength training programs.
She has taught group classes including a beach boot camp and circuit training class and also offers nutritional counseling to all her clients. Jamie also assists her teammates in training for the 2008 Lingerie Bowl, organizing practices and offering training and nutritional advice.
Jamie’s experience has ranged from young male athletes to older post operative clients. Her biggest niche has been women from 25-50 with a focus on weight loss.
