THE FOLLOWING IS ESSENTIAL TO WOMEN OVER 35:

Females have 30% - 40% less neck extensor muscle mass than males.

Long hair adds extra weight.

Females often adopt a forward head and rounded shoulder posture at puberty to hide developing breasts, then

Endomorph:

An endomorph (fat or heavy body) is someone with a body that tends to be overweight. He or she usually has much more fat compared to lean muscle tissue. If a person has a tenancy towards being endomorphic, they are much more likely to be obese. A good example of this body type would be your basic, unathletic, fat person -- having a rather rotund, shapeless body. This person seems to metabolize any food taken into the body as body fat.

Flesh is loose, the body is round and the tendency i s tow ards obesity or markedly overweight, less muscle tissue and more fat. People with endomorphic bodies have several rough spots to get over in their quest to achieve the "ideal body type". The first of these is genetics. Endomorphs have a normal disposition to gain fat. Behavior is another important consideration. If any kind of type if eating disorder fuels the endomorphic body type, this needs to be dealt with in addition to the nutrition and exercise. Because fatigue and ill-health can accompany obesity, especially if it has been a lifelong situation, it can be used as an excuse to avoid exercise. Make sure that there are no chronic medical considerations going on. Often, energy levels can increase significantly when starting cardiovascular exercise and the right diet. Endomorphs may have been overweight as children, and even as adults, they may find that they are unable to see themselves with a slim, well-shaped body.
Mesomorph:

A mesomorph is the individual whose body makeup would be termed muscular; they can be thick bodies and rather hard looking. A good example of a mesomorph is the a competitive body builder. The primary constituent of the muscle tissue is fast-twitch fiber. The muscle tends to bulge or sit away from the bone; there is also very little, if any fat present on the body. This person can just pick up a weight and he/she will build muscle tissue. These people can also eat a lot more if their activity level is high. This body type is very muscular and heavy. People with this body type tend to gain muscle easily (even if they walk) and have very little body fat.

   Ectomorph:

An ectomorph is your basic Skinny Mini! This type is usually thin, long and fairly tight looking. They're the ones that seem to be able to eat like a bottomless pit and the scale doesn't move! In fact, they don't eat like crazy, they lose weight. Their muscle fiber tends to be overwhelmingly slow-twitch fiber. A good example of this body type is a long distance runner. Skinny, skinny, skinny! These are the people who can eat and not gain weight.

DETERMINE YOUR GOAL(S):

Whether your goal is too lose fat,sculpt your body, tone up, build muscle, or just to look younger with more energy, South Bay Fitness will help you obtain the result you desire.

The desire for excellence is the primary reason our clients join South Bay Fitness. In our experience in personal training, we have learned that exercise is only 50% of the equation,and that the other 50% is having the right eating strategy.

At South Bay Fitness we design programs with a balanced mind set that can improve our clients strength,posture,balance,flexibility,stability and coordination,leading to efficiency in movement both in and out of the gym.These factors make a person feel good physically and psychologically, allowing them to walk away with a positive outlook each workout.
